Proposing of a Model for Introducing Environmental Psychology Indexes in the Design of Bookless Academic Library in Iran with a Case Study Approach

Today, it is necessary to use bookless libraries due the increasing addition of new scientific articles and documents previous sources other related problems. This study aimed propose a model for introducing environmental psychology indices library Art Architecture faculties by studying case at Faculties Islamic Azad University, Tehran South Branch. research, based on its nature, subject, objectives, used quantitative method. The statistical population was students above-mentioned faculties. Stratified random sampling method employed select participants. carried out in eight steps. In first step, resources such as books reputable were collecting basic data. second find design indices. third some selected from obtained design, questionnaire prepared them. fourth opinion supervisor assessing validity questionnaire, Cronbach’s alpha coefficient measuring reliability questionnaire. fifth questionnaires distributed among students, their agreement each index questioned. sixth data divided into three groups variables: Environmental psychology, internal architecture, digital equipment furniture, then analyzed SPSS. seventh step dealt with hypotheses. Kolmogorov–Smirnov Est, one-sample t-test, independent one-way variance analysis test final results prioritize space design. showed that mean more than 4 mentioned core indices, score 3.5 considered important Finally, can be concluded indexes will provide desirable environment designing library.
